Relays are electromechanical components that utilize an electromagnet to switch an electrical path. The basic structure of a relay comprises a coil, armature, contacts, and a spring mechanism. When current flows through the coil, it creates a magnetic field which pulls the armature, causing the contacts to engage. This action allows for the control
